Sunderland Enhanced Access Service

If you can’t get an appointment with your GP or can’t get there during the day due to work or other commitments you can use the Enhanced Access Service.

Sunderland offers extra appointments seven days a week at your local out of hours site, alternatively it may be possible to arrange an appointment at another site across the city which your practice will arrange.

When we are Closed

When the surgery is closed and you need a doctor or medical advice dial 111. Calls to 111 are free from both mobiles and landlines if you are calling from the Sunderland area.

Or alternatively if you are calling from outside the Sunderland area on behalf of a patient in the Sunderland  area dial 0191 430 2597.
