Our surgery has been offering medical services to the people of Sunderland for over 60 years. We aim to offer the highest standard of health care to our patients.

We are an accredited training practice. This means the practice will have fully qualified doctors at various stages of their postgraduate careers, such as GP Registrars, F2 doctors and Medical Students. Being a training practice means that we have achieved the highest standards of care and aspire to maintain those standards of excellence.

Out of Hours and Emergencies

If you can’t get an appointment with your GP or can’t get there during the day due to work or other commitments you can use the Enhanced Access Service.

Sunderland offers extra appointments six days a week at your local out of hours site, alternatively it may be possible to arrange an appointment at another site across the city which your practice will arrange.

111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.
